• Bus & Launchers

  

  In the launchers area, Thales Alenia Space is the most important supplier of electronics aboard ARIANE 5 and we have already delivered a few ground control benches. Thales Alenia Space also delivers the safeguard subsystem of the Soyuz launcher (Kourou, French Guyana).

• RF & Microwave sources for Space

  

  Thales, a pioneer in space applications, with decades of experience, Thales continues to contribute decisive technological improvements in key areas for space tubes, such as thermal management, power and efficiency, to significantly boost the transmission capacity offered by satellites. The development of new tubes has also spurred the introduction of new satellite applications, such as high-definition television (HDTV) or Internet connectivity. Drawing on our technological expertise, we have developed other innovative solutions for the space industry, such as ion thrusters and atomic clocks.
